Never more perfect time than fall- winter to get your plaid outfits out. Last year I had done a plaid jacket and this fall it’s a basic button-down plaid shirt. In trend or not in trend plaid is always going to be your fall companion and is also one of the wardrobe must haves. The most difficult thing about plaid shirts I find is deciding which one to pick. They are available in such a wide array of colors.
For this instance I decided to shift from the conventional red and black combination and try a different colour. This shirt has the right color scheme for fall and keeping the season in mind I decided to layer it. Deep shades berry and purple go perfect with the fall palette. Come to think of it, plaid shirts work with almost anything and everything from denim to leather pants, pencil skirts, look like a dream with leather/faux leather skirts, boyfriend blazers to leather jackets. There is something so cozy and snug about this particular print.
Now coming to the look, you all must be well aware of the extent to which I adore this particular pair of jeans looking at the number of times these jeans have featured in my OOTD updates on Instagram. They are so comfy that lately I’ve been practically living in these. This particular pair has managed to get me out of the black jeans phase. And when it came to a post which required denims I had to pick this pair. This laid back look calls for equally laid back accessories hence I ditched the heels and opted for tasselled moccasins. I have tried to add an androgyny element to the outfit through the footwear. Another laid back element is a backpack, luckily I found this transformable bag which can be used as a satchel bag and also as a backpack. No fall look is complete without a swipe of dark berry lips. To complete the look bold lips and sleek frames.
