Dior Animals Lion Embroidered Canvas Book Tote

For Dior’s Resort 2020 collection, artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri wanted to highlight the creativity of African cultures. The runway show was appropriately held in the ruins of El Badi, a centuries old palace located in the heart of Marrakech, Morocco.

The Dior Book Tote, an original style introduced by Dior’s Creative Director, Maria Grazia Chiuri, has become a staple of the Dior aesthetic. Ideally designed to carry all your daily essentials, the large style is fully embroidered with the iconic Dior Oblique pattern in blue, with a ‘Christian Dior’ signature on the front. This carry all is a perfect example of the Dior savoir-faire and it may be worn with other small accessories or the Mitzah scarf for a complete look.

The tote business for me is pretty simple, I invest in the classics and alongwith that comes this penchant of personalising my totes. The book tote was introduced in Dior’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection. From that moment this bag was always on my radar but after having invested in the Saddle and Lady Dior I decided to be patient and see if this one would be a worth investment.

Travelling and shoots are a big part of my job and also the need to carry a bunch of essentials, laptop and other things. The book tote like most totes is sturdy enough to carry my entire world and also will be a great travel companion.

The Dior Book tote comes in a wide array of colors and fabrics and there are new styles launching every season. With so many options available you are spoilt for choice.
