If you were to purchase Fenty Beauty products from the stores then you would know it’s not your regular purchase, it is an experience in itself. You almost get this feeling of being a part of this cult, a tribe which supports different ethnicities and colors. The enthusiasm with which young girls and women of all age groups line up for this is amazing.

I picked up my Fenty beauty products around September from Harvey Nichols, London. It was almost after 3 weeks of the launch and even then there was a 1 hour waiting line to get yourself matched.

PRO FILT’R Soft Matte Longwear Foundation in 300

The most celebrated and popular product of the Fenty collection, the Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation, in whopping 40 shades. Looking at the shade range one can see the amount of hard work that has gone into creating this line. This foundation line covers both the extreme ends of the spectrum with such finesse.

The foundation is oil free and matte. This product works wonders for those with oily and combination skin and with the right moisturiser can work for those with dry skin.

The foundation comes in a sleek frosted glass bottle with a pump dispenser, slightly on the runny side. A full coverage foundation, with lightweight formula, easily buildable without any cakiness. You don’t feel like you’re wearing a lot of makeup.

The Match Stix come in 10 Shimmer Shades and 20 Matte Shades and according to the shades can be used as a concealer, contour stick, highlighter and eyeshadow. One can even customise a trio of these matchstix.

This is the Contour matchstix and is hands down the best contouring product I have used till date. Cool toned brown perfect for contouring its cream to powder formula helps it set on its own.

The MATCHSTIX can be used as a highlight or blush. I picked the shaded Yacht Life which is a peachy pink and often compared by a few to the Nars Orgasm Blush.

The packaging of MatchStix is quite innovative for a beauty product with the entire stick being magnetized its easier to store all matchstick together.

I picked up only those products from this range which I genuinely needed. There are a couple of other great products from the brand which I would recommend like the Kilawatt highlighters.

The price point isn’t ridiculous given the big names associated with this brand it would have been easy to cash in on it. But that’s not the case, even after an hour to two waitlist almost every person left the store with the product they wanted.

Overall, I will recommend investing in Fenty products.
